WorkshopLive Gets a Perfect 10!
Reviewers for www.learntheguitarnow.com gushed with praise for WorkshopLive’s online guitar lessons. They had “no doubt that this is a very successful site,” with our “first class” guitar instructors and “in-depth lessons in virtually every style you could imagine.” After viewing many of our lessons, they decided that “both the amount and quality of the lessons and songs on offer more than justify the price,” stating they “can't recommend this site enough,” and have “happily given it a 10/10 score.” Read more...

Dear Reader,

January was a great month for all of us here at The Workshop. We visited NAMM—the big music industry conference in Anaheim, California. While we were there we met some amazing artists, some of whom will soon be brought to you by WorkshopLive. Stay tuned! We were also introduced to some of the hippest new guitar gear to appear in years, and we’re going to be a part of that, too! Geez…there’s so much we wish we could tell you. For now, it’s all very hush-hush, but keep a close watch on the next few issues of Tuned In!

Some of you were present for WorkshopLive’s first live, streaming guitar lesson, taught by Susan Mazer. Visitors to the Website clicked a banner on the front page of www.workshoplive.com and were whisked off to a virtual classroom we call LiveCast. Guitar students from 10 different countries were in attendance and had the opportunity to ask Susan questions and get her direct responses. There were two sessions: one for absolute beginners about basic chords and tips for switching between them, and another about basic fingerstyle warm-ups. It was our first effort in live Web broadcasting, and it was a big success. You can check out the archived version at www.workshoplive.com/live. Keep your eye out for the next live broadcast, coming your way soon!

See you then!
